Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving. We have been spending this week thanking God for so many things with our boys.We all have so much to be thankful for and love adopting the thanksgiving holiday thanks to our American friends and family!

This year we are especially thankful for the gifts of Lily and our little neice Isabelle who we look forward to meeting next year. It has been such a special year with Lily in our family and seeing how our boys love her and how she loves them so much.

We are thankful for our families who we miss very much living here. We are thankful that we can skype with them and that they post us postcards and match attax (football) cards to show us they are thinking of us!

The boys are thankful for friends - we are thankful for a God who answers prayers and for our friends back home who have been praying for friends for them. To hear them talking about having friends now brings us so much joy after some hard times.

We are thankful for the community we have here to support us when family is far away, especially our house church family.

And we are so, so thankful for our friends and church back 'home' who are partnering with us, making it possible for us to serve here and for the support and encouragement they give us.

Later we will be thankful for pumpkin pie... Happy Thanksgiving!
