Flying companions

As we round the corner of West Africa, sailing near to Sierra Leone, we are joined by some feathered friends. The nearest land is out of sight so they have flown a reasonable distance to keep us company.



I'll leave it up to Roger to identify the bird...

Sorry Lynn, no prizes this time.

They are Egrets - not sure of specific type - but are similar to Intermediate Egrets we saw in Australia recently.
